Do you want to take the process solutions of our CapEx projects globally to the next level? Our mission is to go beyond technical design—we are building a disciplined, efficient, and value-adding environment for how engineering solutions are developed and implemented across our capital projects globally. If you are passionate about translating business needs into fit-for-purpose solutions and want to make a tangible impact on a global scale, this is your chance.
What we ask
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related discipline (Master's level preferred).
- Broad experience in engineering design of production installations across process technology — product processing, filling, packaging, and related systems.
- Strong practical knowledge in filling & packaging technologies — such as aseptic filling, form-fill-seal, cartoning, palletizing, or comparable systems — preferably gained in FMCG (dairy, food, or beverage).
- Proven involvement in CapEx projects in a large multinational or engineering/consulting firm, with the ability to translate business requirements into fit-for-purpose engineering solutions.
- Hands-on experience in a production or manufacturing environment is a strong advantage — we value engineers who understand what happens after commissioning.
- A safety-first mindset and the ability to work effectively across disciplines, cultures, and geographies.
- A decisive, pragmatic approach — comfortable making and defending technical recommendations under uncertainty.
- The drive to take ownership: identifying gaps, challenging the status quo, and systematically improving how we engineer process solutions in CapEx projects.
- Willingness to travel internationally for limited periods.

Vacancy description
- Lead the Vision: Act as the global ambassador and owner of technical specifications for production installations (product processing, filling & packaging) across our CapEx projects worldwide. You define how our production installations are engineered, integrated, and delivered within projects.
- Continuous improvement in engineering solutions: Systematically challenge and improve our engineering designs and ways of working. Remove waste, drive standardization where it adds value, and embed a feedback-to-design loop so lessons from commissioning and operations feed back into future projects.
- Ecosystem development: Build and maintain a strong network of internal stakeholders (including Technology, operations, and site teams) and external partners (OEMs, technology suppliers, engineering firms) to ensure our engineering solutions are fit-for-purpose and aligned with business objectives. Champion knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across sites and regions.
- Own the Outcome: Take the lead on the processing scope of our largest CapEx projects and master plans. From initial concept to final handover, you'll own all engineering deliverables and provide key input for crucial investment decisions.
- Your place in the team: You report to the Manager of Engineering Experts, Commissioning & Start-up within Global Projects. Your primary role is enabling and elevating the engineering quality across the project portfolio — setting standards, stepping in where engineering rigour is at risk, and ensuring consistent, fit-for-purpose technical solutions. Your authority comes from engineering expertise and the quality
