We are looking for a Demand Planner who is eager to learn and to drive accurate forecasts for one of FrieslandCampina's iconic brands. As the Supply Chain representative for Commerce, you will ensure strong KPI performance across forecast accuracy, bias, service level and waste. Using data-driven insights, you identify opportunities to improve forecasts in a complex supply chain with short shelf-life products, promotions and a large number of SKUs.
What we ask
- Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management/Logistics or Marketing
- Minimum of 2 years of Demand Planning experience (or relevant other experience)
- Knowledge of principles such as forecasting, S&OP, statistics
- Knowledge of ERP-systems (preferred SAP, APO DP/SNP, BW, MicroStrategy, PBI, OMP)
- Knowledge of MS Office (advanced)
- Knowledge of E2E Supply Chain processes within FMCG
- Fluently in Dutch and English, written and spoken
- Analytical, strong communicator, customer-oriented & persuasiveness
- Proactive, learning-oriented and willing to take ownership

Employment benefits:
- Salary between €4,550 and €6,000 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role.
- A work week of 32 to 38 hours, a 5% year-end allowance, 10% company bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme.• Hybrid working with flexible working hours, a train card and/or €0.23 per km (max. 30 km one way).

Vacancy description
Creating the demand plan:
- Creates the (statistical) baseline forecast, enriched by inputs from commerce (insights, promotions); for the operational (0-13 weeks) and tactical horizon (4-18 months)
- Understands usage statistical forecasting to create a solid baseline forecast
- Understands impact of business dynamics and translate them into the demand plan, like e.g. New Product Developments, phase-ins/outs, promotions, events, seasonality, tenders, contracts, marketing activations
- Secures forecast constraining in case of supply restrictions and share the results with internal stakeholders (e.g. supply, sales and customer service)
- Prepares the activity review meeting & demand review meetings and provides input for the MT Sign-Off of the demand plan
- First point of contact for the commercial organization for the operational and/or tactical planning horizon for OPCO Netherlands
- Participating in assigned Projects (e.g. New Product Launches or System-enhancements)
Maintaining & improving the demand plan:
- Drives continuous, data-driven improvement of the forecast accuracy and bias in alignment with commerce and supply
- Guarding the performance of the forecast (forecast accuracy & bias, service levels and waste)
- Monitor, analyze, understand and challenge the quality of the enrichments provided by the commercial teams (e.g. assumptions, trends, risks, opportunities)
- Coordinate the decision-making process in setting priorities cross-OPCO or Business Groups
- Continuously seek for opportunities & improvements of the demand plan and take ownership in implementing solutions
The Demand Planner is part of the BG Europe & Retail and Americas Demand Planning team. BG Europe & Retail and Americas is one of the six Business Groups of FrieslandCampina and responsible for selling, planning, making and delivering consumer dairy products (e.g. White Dairy, Cheese, Butter, Cream).
