Stellenbeschreibung: 

What we ask 

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience;
  • Experience with forecasting and/or supply chain/logistics, preferably in an FMCG/Food environment;
  • Interest in statistics and modelling, with a willingness to understand forecasting models and their impact;
  • Experience with planning tools (such as OMP), ERP systems, Power BI, and advanced Excel;
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills;
  • The ability to adapt your message to different cultures and market types;
  • The ability to challenge constructively while maintaining strong relationships;
  • Strong analytical skills and a results-driven mindset;
  • A proactive attitude and a drive for continuous improvement;
  • Fluent in English.

Employment benefits:

  • Salary between €4500 and €5800 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role;
  • A workweek of 32 to 38 hours, a 5% year-end allowance, 10% bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme;
  • Hybrid working with flexible working hours, a train card or €0.23 per km (max. 30 km one way);
  • 200 hours of annual leave, with the option to buy or sell up to 40 hours;
  • A laptop, phone and home office equipment to support flexible working.

 

Vacancy Description:

In this role you will:

  • Own and continuously improve the end-to-end demand plan across short-term (13 weeks) and mid-term horizons (18–24 months), in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning;
  • Translate business dynamics (e.g. NPDs, promotions, tenders, seasonality, and contracts) into a robust and reliable forecast;
  • Challenge and refine commercial inputs by analyzing assumptions, trends, risks, and opportunities, providing clear, data-driven insights;
  • Lead the weekly and monthly demand review cycle as part of the S&OP process;
  • Balance demand and supply by managing constraining and allocation activities;
  • Monitor and improve key KPIs such as forecast accuracy, bias, service level, and waste;
  • Deliver high-quality analysis and reporting to support decision-making;
  • Collaborate with supply points to ensure alignment and drive continuous supply chain improvement;
  • Provide actionable insights through both periodic and ad hoc reporting;
  • Contribute to and lead initiatives that translate the Supply Chain strategy into a forward-looking Demand Planning roadmap.

You will join the Industry team within the Customer Supply Chain organization, based in Amersfoort.
