We are looking for a Controlling Analyst to join the FP&A team for Cooperative Affairs and Sustainability. We work with a team of highly motivated individuals serving our Member Farmers on a daily basis.
The Cooperative Affairs department is the link between FrieslandCampina and its member dairy farmers in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany and involves a wide range of activities, among others:
- Farmer services of approximately 8,000 farmers;
- Milk logistics with around €130million cost base;
- Farmer recruitment and sustainability;
- Milk money payments ~4-5billion;
- Partnership financial flow of €800million, intercompany.
The primary focus of the role is ensuring the financials between the Cooperation and NV is reported and controlled correctly. This includes all milk flows, milk certificates and member bonds. In addition to controlling, all activities across the geographical scope must to in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
You support the Cooperative Affairs Leadership team and FP&A Manager Cooperative Affairs & Sustainability. You will drive continuous improvement in the areas of efficiency & automation.
What We Ask
- Academic education, preferably in Accounting or Finance;
- 3+ years’ of experience in an international environment, preferably RFC knowledge;
- Full professional proficiency in English and Dutch
- Professional experience in Hyperion HFM, SAP; BI Tools;
- Project management experience.

Employment benefits:
- Salary between €4,500 and €6,300 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role.
- A work week of 38 hours, a 5% year-end allowance, 10% bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme.

Accountabilities
Month end closing and Forecasting Process:
- Controlling and reporting the entities within Cooperative Affairs including Netherlands, Germany & Belgium entities, the Cooperation and the NV;
- Ensuring all financial reporting at end of month is correctly assigned between Cooperative Affairs, the Cooperation (related to Member Financing) and the NV;
- Supports the FP&A manager of overall Profit and Loss and variances, of monthly standard and ad-hoc management analys;
- Supports forecasting process; trend analysis and identification of risks and opportunities;
- Linking pin and oversight of FSSC;
- Ensures that within FP&A and accounting area all ICF controls are in place;
- Contact person for internal and external auditors.
Stream line process and company’s accounting system:
- Continually drive to improve reporting processes;
- Off shore standard accounting activities to FSSC;
- Support of new business from a financial perspective.
Overhead and Cash Flow management:
- Understand cost drivers of the business;
- Supports Balance Sheet reconciliation with local finance team and SSC.
Stakeholders:
- Milk Money Team, CA business colleagues;
- Trading and Strategic Partnership Controlling Planning & Reporting;
- Cooperative Affairs MT and Sustainability MT;
- Corporate Controlling; FSSC;
- Internal / External Audit.
