As CMO Teamlead, you play a key leadership role within Customer Management at FrieslandCampina Ingredients. You lead a team of Customer Management Officers (CMOs) and drive KPI-based performance steering, operational excellence, and sustainable improvements across the customer portfolio.

You ensure consistent, high-quality execution of customer management processes end-to-end while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team and across the wider organization.

Vacancy Description

As CMO Teamlead, you are responsible for leading and developing part of the Customer Management organization within FrieslandCampina Ingredients. You ensure strong execution, ownership, and performance management within the team while balancing operational priorities and continuous improvement initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and develop a team of CMOs with a strong focus on accountability, ownership, and growth
  • Drive KPI-based performance steering and performance dialogues
  • Ensure consistent end-to-end process execution and adherence to standards
  • Embed new ways of working, tools, and processes into daily operations
  • Act as escalation point for operational and stakeholder challenges
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Demand Planning, Order Fulfilment, and other cross-functional teams
  • Translate improvement initiatives into sustainable operational execution
  • Build a high-performing and collaborative team culture
  • Actively collaborate with the fellow CMO Teamlead to ensure alignment, consistency, and shared ownership across the wider Customer Management organization

What we ask

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Commercial Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Experience in customer service, commercial operations, supply chain, or a related field within an international environment
  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, team development, and performance management
  • Strong affinity with KPI-driven steering and continuous improvement
  • Experience working with dashboards and (reporting-) tools such as SalesForce, Power BI and/or Celonis
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to drive change and embed new ways of working
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Fluent in English and Dutch

Employment benefits: 

  • Salary between €4,550 and €6,000 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role. 
  • A work week of 32 to 38 hours, a 5% year-end allowance, 10% company bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme. 
  • Hybrid working with flexible working hours, a train card and/or €0.23 per km (max. 30 km one way). 
  • 200 hours of annual leave, with the option to buy or sell up to 40 hours.

Munkaköri leírás lábléce: 

The Customer Management organization within FrieslandCampina Ingredients consists of 16 CMOs, supported by 2 CMO Teamleads.

In this role, you will lead approximately half of the team as direct reports and work closely together with the other CMO Teamlead to ensure consistent leadership, aligned decision-making, and a unified way of working across the broader Customer Management organization.

Both CMO Teamleads report directly to the Global Manager Customer Service and work closely together with the Global Process Owner as part of the Customer Management leadership structure. Close collaboration, knowledge sharing, and joint ownership are key to successfully leading the organization and driving continuous improvement.

The team works in an international environment where collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement are central.
