What we ask

- 2-5 years of relevant experience in commercial roles, preferably within FMCG, retail, or export environments.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships.

Employment benefits:
• Salary between €3,900 and €5,250 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role.
• A work week of 32 to 38 hours, a 5% year-end allowance, 10% company bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme.

Vacancy description
In this role, you will be responsible for driving commercial growth, managing key customer relationships, and leading cross‑functional projects across Europe. Your responsibilities include:
- Business Opportunity Identification & Execution: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify and execute new commercial opportunities.
- Trade Marketing Management: Manage A&P budgets, execute marketing campaigns and activations with brands such as Chocomel and Parrano, coordinate artwork updates, and support local sales teams with marketing materials.
- Project Management: Lead and drive sales‑driven initiatives from concept to delivery.
- Account Management: Act as the primary point of contact for selected European customers. Build strong relationships, manage daily communication, monitor performance, and support contract negotiations.
- Private Label NPD Project Management: Manage the setup and rollout of private label NPDs across Europe. Gather customer requirements, coordinate with R&D and production, and ensure successful product launches.
- Reporting & Analysis: Track project progress, sales performance, and market developments. Prepare reports and presentations to support decision‑making.
- People Management: Manage the day‑to‑day work of an intern by setting priorities, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring alignment with team objectives. Provide clear direction and create a structured environment that supports both performance and learning.
The European Export team, part of the Business Group Europe, plays a key role in bringing FrieslandCampina’s products to customers across Europe. Working closely with distributors, retailers, and partners in multiple countries, the team ensures our branded and private label products reach consumers efficiently while adapting to local market dynamics. Operating in a fast-paced and diverse environment, the team combines strong commercial capabilities with cross-border collaboration and a deep understanding of regional markets.
The team consists of seven members, including a Sales Manager, Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Support Manager, driver and an intern, fostering a close-knit and agile way of working. The team is entrepreneurial, energetic, and collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership, where individuals are empowered to take initiative and make a meaningful impact. In this role, you report directly to the Business Unit Lead.
