We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our growing Trade Spend team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily execution of Trade Spend and billing management processes, while actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This role also provides support and backup for essential operational tasks within the Accounts Receivable team. The position is based in Malaysia and requires proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and/or a professional accountancy qualification from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance function; shared services experience is an added advantage

Scope of Responsibilities 

• Support the Team Manager in the execution and management of Trade Spend activities, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, guidelines, and SLAs with OpCo
• Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to Trade Spend processes and ways of working
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration (“chain meetings”) to communicate updates, resolve issues, and engage with OpCo stakeholders (Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, Business Control) and FSSC teams (Accounts Payable, Banking, Financial Accounting)
• Perform rebate accruals and manage rebate settlement processes accurately and timely
• Provide guidance and coaching to team members on operational activities and best practices
• Act as the first point of contact for escalations within the team
• Support Internal Control Framework (ICF) reviews, including walkthroughs and documentation of evidence
• Lead and participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the department
• Support KPI/OPI preparation, including analysis and discussions with the line manager
• Provide backup support for complex and day-to-day operational tasks within the Accounts Receivable team as required
• Review trade spend-related balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare trade spend and billing-related reports for internal stakeholders
• Support change initiatives and transformation activities as needed
