The Plant Manager, RoSSA Opco is responsible for ensuring to supply the market demand with the factory, on time in full, and in the best quality. Furthermore, we focus on safety and produce in the most cost-efficient way.
- Accountable for produce, maintain and improve single-plant site: production execution, coordination, control, quality, safety, cost and workforce.
- Accountable for plant site results and year budget.
- Responsible for license to operate.
- Responsible for entire operations on site and also towards external parties like community, regulatory bodies etc.
- Responsible for legal and local government topics as relating to the factory operations
What we Ask
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage
- Minimum 10–15 years' experience in manufacturing operations, with significant leadership experience in FMCG or a similar industry
- Proven track record of leading large-scale production and plant operations
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing excellence, quality management systems, engineering, and supply chain processes
- Experience in budget management, cost optimization, and operational performance improvement
- Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent stakeholder management, strategic planning, and change management skills

1. Production Management:
Lead production operations to ensure market demand is fulfilled on time, in full, and at the required quality standards. Drive operational excellence through effective planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
2. Quality Management:
Implement and maintain quality policies and systems in line with company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products.
3. Cost Management:
Drive efficient resource utilization and cost optimization initiatives. Ensure production costs are effectively managed while maintaining operational performance and product quality.
4. Budget Control:
Develop, manage, and control plant budgets, ensuring financial targets are achieved and corrective actions are taken where necessary to meet business objectives.
5. Human Resources Management:
Lead workforce planning, capability development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives to build a high-performing and future-ready organization.
6. Technical Engineering:
Oversee engineering and maintenance operations to maximize equipment reliability, reduce downtime, improve factory performance, and support efficient production processes.
7. Project Management:
Lead capital and continuous improvement projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget while supporting long-term business objectives.
8. Planning & Supply Chain Integration:
Partner with Supply Chain teams to ensure effective S&OP and production scheduling processes that support optimal inventory levels and timely product delivery.
9. Sustainability:
Drive the factory sustainability agenda through waste reduction, resource optimization, environmental footprint reduction, and implementation of sustainability improvement projects.
10. Factory Transformation & Future Readiness:
Develop and execute long-term factory master plans, strengthen organizational capabilities, and implement state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and technologies to maintain a competitive advantage.
11. Site Leadership & Compliance:
Maintain the factory's license to operate by ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements while effectively managing relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and local communities.
